Australia and US VPS: Which Workloads Fit Which Region

Besides Japan, Australia and the US are popular 00Shark regions. Physical location determines which workloads each fits, and picking the right region matters more than piling on specs.

US VPS

The US is the core of the global internet with abundant international bandwidth. It fits: sites serving European and American users, cross-border e-commerce, apps integrating US-local services (payments, APIs), and price-sensitive high-bandwidth needs. The downside is higher latency to Asia.

Australia VPS

Australia fits: businesses serving local Australian and Oceania users, localized sites and apps, and scenarios needing an Australian IP. Local latency is very low, but resources are niche and pricier.

Japan VPS

For East Asian users (including mainland China), Japan offers the best latency and is the top pick for Asian workloads.
