A big advertised bandwidth with a strict fair-use throttle, or "unlimited traffic" that slows sharply past a threshold.
Trap 3: detoured routes
Cheap plans on detoured international routes see latency spike and packets drop at peak, nearly unusable for latency-sensitive workloads.

- Slow support, no one to reach when things break;
- Fly-by-night vendors that vanish with your data.
