Japan VPS — Tokyo Cloud Servers
Tokyo is one of the shortest hops out of East Asia, which makes it a common landing point for sites and services whose visitors sit in Japan, Korea or mainland China. Our Tokyo plan is the entry tier of the catalogue, so it is also the cheapest way to get a real overseas VPS rather than shared hosting.

Common questions
Does a Japan VPS need ICP filing?
No. ICP filing applies to servers hosted inside mainland China. A Tokyo node is outside that scope, so you can put a site live as soon as your domain resolves.
What latency should I expect from mainland China?
It depends on your ISP and the time of day rather than on the server itself, so we do not quote a single number. Test it yourself before committing — the latency guide below walks through ping and mtr, and support can arrange a look at the route.
Can I move to a bigger plan later?
Yes. Upgrades are handled by sales on Telegram; message @aliyun370 with your current plan and the target spec.
Not sure which plan fits?
Tell sales what you are running and where your visitors are — you will get a straight recommendation, not an upsell.
